Cluster Building Analysis

There are different types of graphs and raw datas available:

• Overview on Degree Days box shows the cooling degree days, the heating degree days and the humidex index historical dataset;
• UNITO Electrical Summer Energy Index represents two type of pre-analysis.
  • Relative Energy Index,the left box, shows the Electrical Consumption of the current month minus the average between the consumption of May and October of the same year normalized over the degree days;
  • Absolute Energy Index, , the right box, shows the Electrical Consumption of the current month normalized over the degree days.
• Cooling Degree Days box shows the correlation between the degree days and the Electrical Consumption;
• Δ Kwh VS Δ GG box shows the correlation between the difference of Electrical Consumption and the Degree Days among different years. Since this graphs a preliminary correlation of increment in electrical consumption for each degree day.

• Degree Days:
  • Temperature Max: $$DD_{Tmax,month} = \sum_{x=1}^{30}{T_{x,Average} - T_{Comfort} }$$ where $T_{Comfort} = 24°C$ and $T_{x,Average}$ is the average temperature during the whole day.
  • Humidex Index: $$ H_{month} = \sum_{x=1}^{30}{T_{x,Average} + \frac{5}{9}(6.11 * \frac{HU_{x,\%}}{100}*10^{\frac{7.5T_{x,Average}}{237.7+T_{x,Average}}}-10 )} $$ where $T_{x,Average}$ is the average temperature during the whole day and $HU_{x,\%}$ is the average humidity.
