How to use:
In this page you can visualize an overview on Reactive Energy and penalties from any building within Unito Building Stock.
- First you have to choose the particular building, directly from the map;
- Second you have to select the year You want refer to.
- Finally, you can visualize different types of graphs such as the reactive energy,the power factor for each month, the penalties due to reactive energy and so on.
You have to choose the building and the year, then all graphs update automatically.
There are different types of data available:
- Reactive Energy doesn't represents a real energy consumption. It measures the phase displacement for the AC current due to inductances and capicitances;
- Power Factor represents the percentage of reactive energy with respect to the active energy. For instance, a power factor of 0.95 means that the reactive energy corresponds to the 33% of the active energy, while a power factor of 0.8 means that the Reactive Energy is the 75% of the active energy.
- Penalties: any building has to pay some penalties if the Reactive Energy is more than the 33% of the Active Energy.
In this page you can visualize various graph for any building you choose directly from the map:
- Building Site Reactive Energy and Annual Overview Consumption: these two boxes show directly the absolute value of reactive energy.
- Building Power Factor Annual Overview: in this box you can visualize the power factor for each month and for each timeslot (F1,F2,F3). Moreover you can look at the penalties for each month due to reactive energy.
- TimeSlot Trends: a quick tool to compare the power factor among different years for each month and visualize trends.
- Overview on Building Stock: compare your building with all the other within the University of Turin.
